An armored fighting vehicle is not by itself quite lethal in a modern warfare yet it is the ways that it is put into use that makes it a very important part of an armed combat. If an armored vehicle is used with discretion and utmost strategy then the heavily armed soldiers that it contains may make it a lethal unit for an enemy that has been taking things for granted. Apart from that some armored fighter vehicles may be used to bring back the injured soldiers from the battle field and are also used for transporting weapons and other lethal equipment to aid the fighting soldiers near to the enemy lines. Among the most specialized and sophisticated armored vehicle the battle tank tops the list as it can attack and destroy the enemy’s fortified positions without being subjected to firepower that easily.
For example the battle tanks are enormous fighting vehicle and are made of thick steel that weighs tons and are the best to create breakthrough passes in the enemy line. They are rather expensive and may cost a lot of money for their maintenance. Yet they give the much needed protection for the infantry and assist them right in the middle of a battlefield.
Yet they are vulnerable when attacked from air especially by combat helicopters yet with enough anti aircraft guns in position a tank can make significant gains into the enemy lines.
Other Armored Vehicles
The other armored vehicles are lighter and do not have the firepower like the battle tank. They are yet very important as they transport arms and equipment to soldiers who are under heavy artillery or shelling. They also transport injured soldiers and provide sort of mobile unit for emergency medical aid. The vehicles are classified according to their requirements although there may be vans or trucks that act in multiple capacities.
